Visit to Waikanae River to see the bridge construction
We went on a trip to see the bridge construction.
A short drive to the Waikanae
River...and a short walk along the path.
Jo told us about the big piles that were being put in to build the bridge.
We saw a big yellow crane...

Cheesy mushrooms
Our food of the week was mushrooms.
We joined Room 17 and Room 3 to make, and try, cheesy mushrooms.

Experiment - can we make a fish swim?
What do we need?
cardboard
scissors
pencil
bowl of water
dishwashing liquid
What do we do?
draw a fish
cut it out
put it in a bowl of water
put one drop of dishwashing liquid behind the fish's tail
watch!
